I recently visited Uncle Ernie’s in Panama City, Florida and had the pleasure of tasting one of their signature cheeseburgers. From the moment I stepped foot into the eatery, I knew I was in for something special. The restaurant had a vintage diner vibe and the smells of homemade cooking filled the air.
When my burger arrived, I immediately noticed the rich char-grilled flavor. The generous portion of cheese melted down expertly onto the patty, and the bun was nicely toasted. The flavor was inviting and reminded me of homemade cooking. Every bite of the perfectly cooked patty was delicious.
The real surprise came when I tried the sides. The housemade fries were full of flavor and cooked just the right amount of time. The coleslaw was delightful, and had just the right amount of dressing. All things considered, this was one of the best meals I have had in a while.
If you are ever in Panama City and looking for a great meal, I highly recommend giving Uncle Ernie’s a visit. The atmosphere is inviting, the staff is friendly, and the food is to die for. Every bite of my cheeseburger tasted like I was eating homemade cooking. I look forward to coming back to Uncle Ernie’s and trying some of their other menu items!
I would give Uncle Ernie’s 5 stars because of the unique view of the Bay that you get to experience. It is really magical compared to the Gulf. Great place for a sunset if you can get seated at the right time, otherwise you can just hang around the area and watch the sunset without sitting down. It’s a great place to view the sunset in general.
